Dr. Phillips holds a master’s degree in physical education and sports science from Loughborough University in the U.K. and a Ph.D. in exercise and wellness from Arizona State University, where he is now professor emeritus. Dr. Phillips is a former post-doctoral fellow at Stanford University Center for Research in Disease Prevention and a current fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. He is an internationally recognized scientist who has presented and published extensively in strength, wellness, and active living. Dr. Phillips has also designed and developed nationally-funded academic research projects and consulted on several in-house research programs for fitness and wellness companies such as ActiveRx and TriVita.

Dr. John Baumann has an illustrious medical career with over 30 years of successful patient care, consulting, and management experience. At present, he is a wellness business owner, corporate consultant, educator, mentor and advisor. Dr. Baumann has previous experience with a 140,000-member HMO, a 114-bed Acute Care Hospital, and as a senior manager at many major universities around the nation.

Brazos Minshew has dedicated his professional life to developing wellness technologies that promote health and prolong vitality. His cutting-edge work in bioscience has led to the creation of life-enhancing therapies and helped expand the knowledge and understanding of Functional Medicine. He ranks among the most respected product developers in the burgeoning field of nutraceuticals. Brazos Minshew graduated from Hollywood College in 1981 with a degree in Naturopathy. In 1985, he studied Mind-Body medicine through clinical biofeedback with Jack Sandweiss, MA of UCLA, and Philip Hughes, Ph.D. in Berkeley. Minshew earned his Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1993 through Brantridge University-Hawaii.

Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from Rutgers University, a master’s degree in Plant Biotechnology from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Beijing, and a ChinaBA in Agronomy from the Northwestern University of Agriculture, Shaanxi, China. At present, he serves as the President of Mannine Science Corp, an organization that develops intellectual property and innovative products in the dietary supplement and skincare industry.

As a premium wellness company, we believe excellence must be a priority at every stage of product development.
With that as a guidepost, we’ve ensured that our formulas consist of the highest quality, clean-label, and cruelty-free products available. Each formula includes clinically-proven ingredients that have undergone comprehensive third-party lab testing to ensure their safety and efficacy. Finished products are then re-tested at an ISO-Certified lab for microbial contaminants, pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, and potency.
Hemp Extract
Our industrial hemp is grown on United States soil according to organic methods. Our farmers have registered locations with the State Department of Agriculture, and every batch is tracked to its originating farm. In addition, our farmers operate under strict guidelines that ensure quality, potency, and consistency.
Once our hemp is milled, the cannabinoids are initially extracted through a natural solvent and further distilled via Supercritical CO2. After that, the extracts are put through our proprietary L9 BioScience Technology, creating nano-sized particles that increase bioavailability. This is a unique and expensive process which is why effective Broad Spectrum Hemp products are so rare.
Hand-Crafted Small Batch Production
Most supplements are produced by high-volume machines and out-of-the-box formulas. Tera Naturals products are passionately hand-crafted in small batches without any additives. While flavor and function will always remain consistent, appearance may vary from batch to batch.
Sustainability
Research has shown that over 70% of a product’s environmental negative footprint comes from its packaging. Plastic containers, boxes with toxic ink and plastic coating, single-use plastic bubble wrap, or non-biodegradable packing peanuts…we said no to all of that. Because we understand that part of being business owners involves analyzing our impact on the planet.
That’s why we chose to do our packaging responsibly–in a high-end, eco-friendly design that delights our customers the minute their package arrives.
We achieved this by creating boxes made with recycled materials and printed with nontoxic ink, recycled paper as packing cushions, and refill pouches that are reusable and made of 30%+ recycled materials.
